Pitter Patter, Boom Boom

Ever wonder what we would do with out walkers and toys that hold our kids and help avoid major crashes? I do lol Zack has had plenty close calls the past few days.
His walker is my sanctuary, yes he grabs at things he's not supposed to, but at least it prevents him from falling down and banging his lil noggin. I never truley knew what to expect when I wasnt a parent, but now that I am, I have a new found respect from moms before me. And to the moms that didnt have these wonderful contraptions, kudos to you for keeping our population going!! LOL
Now its on to hiding all my DVD cases and anything breakable, because I can already foresee the grabbing and pulling down of those!!!

Dangers of the Weather

A few nights ago, we had a brush with a Micro-burst. I never experienced one before and would rather not again. We had no actual warning of it coming, as it came while we sound asleep in our bed.
Our windows were being pounded with Hail and wind, and it sounded like someone was pressure washing our windows.
I look out the window in our office and there was a branch the length of my house!
Clean up was horrible and I was exhausted at the end of the day!
Here is a definition of a Micro-Burst....
A microburst occurs when a sudden rush of very heavy rain from a thunderstorm hits the ground with force, sending a surge of wind fanning out in all directions.

They say that by the time the storm hit my area wind gusts were at 75-100 miles per hour.

The beginning

thought I would just start with a quick "hello" and test this out.
